(In front of an entrance at night)
Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. It's been well over a month now since I was at Star Wars Celebration Europe. I still think a lot about my experience over there. I had a blast. Today, I will be sharing some of my highlights from the Celebration.
1) It brought me overseas for the first time. I really enjoyed getting to explore London, England. I won't be getting into any specifics of my London experience in this blog. I'll have another blog for my time in London on another day. This blog will be focusing on the Star Wars Celebration.

2) I had the best conversation ever with Joonas Suotamo. Last year at Celebration Anaheim, I had a photo op with Joonas. This year, I got an autograph from the Chewbacca actor. We talked about how excited we were for him to play a Wookiee Jedi. We talked about Peter Mayhew, the original Chewbacca, and about Mayhew's wife Angie passing away shortly before Celebration. We ended our conversation with our Wookiee sounds.

3) Getting to hang out with all the friends there was awesome! I got to meet Peter and Ian from the Star Bores podcast as well as Jason from the Jedi News. I got to hang out with Peter a lot and it was awesome, especially since we've been friends on The Dorky Diva Show discord. Speaking of the discord, I also got to meet Daz in person for the first time. This trip made it the furthest that I've traveled with Brian Ballance in the over 25 years that we've known each other, and that's really special. I got to chat with my friend Brenda more than once, so that was great. Of course, I got to have dinner with The Dorky Diva Savanna, Brian Ballance, Star Bores Peter, and Jedi News Jason all together at a really nice restaurant.
(The really nice dinner)
4) The panels that I went to were amazing! My favorite panel that I went to was the Creature Cantina. I got to sit with the host of The Interesting Podcast, Brian Ballance, and we got to see a bunch of guests from Brian's show up on stage! I'm a big fan of The Interesting Podcast, so it was really cool getting to see some of the guests in person. We got to see how the creature costumes work and they put on a show for us! After the panel, Brian and I got to hang out with Derek Arnold for a little bit, which was awesome!
My second favorite panel was the Animation Game Night. In this panel, we got to see some of the voice over actors from The Clone Wars face off against each other in games. Of course, they got to do their voices. This one was a lot of fun to watch.
My third favorite panel would be the Villains of the Sequel Trilogy with Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, and Ian McDiarmid. It was like a master class in acting!
I also went Visisons Volume 2 panel where we got to meet the creators from all around the world and watch a full episode! The London Calling panel was also really cool, where we got to learn about what it's like make Star Wars in the U.K. I went to one of the streaming stages for the Ahsoka panel, which was pretty neat.
On Sunday I went the Skytalkers Podcast panel and the Talking Bay 94 panel which were both pretty awesome. If you haven't listened to either of those podcasts, I highly recommend them.

There was so much more to Celebration that isn't in this blog, but those are the major highlights for me. Here are some more picures:
(Atomic Blonde is my favorite DJ)
(There was a really cool droid display that took up more space than what this picture shows)
(Somebody cosplayed as Krrsantan)
(Surfer Chewie)
(Of course I had to get a picture with a Wookiee)
I hope you all enjoyed reading about my time at Star Wars Celebration Europe this year. I love Star Wars Celebrations! The next Celebration is two years from now in Japan! Stay tuned for my blog that will be more about what I did in London. Until my next blog, I hope you all have beautiful days ahead of you.
